Deep cleansing breath. Remember, it’s a weekend. It is abundantly clear from this post and posts in the .org forum that a problem exists. I’m quite certain that they are both aware and working towards a solution.
There is an inherent problem with the filter code. If you use the downloads shortcode in any other page then no downloads will display.
My solution was to create a link to the appropriate category for upcoming events. The user will then click on the event to purchase using the EDD Tickets interface.

It seems the data is inside a data-tribejson tag and is HTML encoded. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. In a quick look at the source it seems there’s still a lot of mobile tags.
Cynthia, try adding the following to your theme’s style.css
header.entry-header { display: block !important; }This was from Conflicting CSS for entry header.
I think somehow refashioning the $query to pick up event end date and EDD’s meta_key might do the trick.
I’m going to close this thread and try again. This time without accidentally assigning it to myself. :face palm:
