MemberBah. I just realized that my usage of the title “full-width” might be confusing too. Basically my “full-width” template sits nicely within the main 900 px width of the main content, and not the full browser width.
Josh
MemberI’m sorry, I don’t think I communicated that properly in my last post.
When I use the default page template, the header is perfect. However, I cannot use the default template because of the terrible formatting of the content (Calendar is full browser width at all times, event single page has no left margin- rendering it unreadable) so I’ve switched back to the “full-width” (no sidebar) template that is with my theme. This is formatted the way I like, but the title is the problem.
I can try your last post using my “full-width” template, and see if It helps.

MemberYes sir. Though the default template does display the proper title, it does not have proper margins on the individual event pages or on the calendar itself. The individual event page shows no margin at all on the left side of the browser, thus rendering that template unreadable.
I reverted back to my theme’s full-width (no sidebar) template for the calendar in the mean time, and am just dealing with the improper title display.
I understand this isn’t your fault that a given theme doesn’t play nice with this plugin, but it is a bit frustrating for me to pay for a premium plugin that I can’t get working 100%.
BTW…Thanks for helping out Jonah. 🙂

Memberno dice. The first set of code didn’t work, and there’s no function call for the_title() in my theme’s page.php file.
The “default template” displays it properly. However, I don’t like that it stretches the calendar to the edges of the browser. What’s the best way to just go about changing the margins/behavior on that?
Josh
MemberI’ll give that a shot and let you know. Thanks!
Josh
MemberSuzanne, mine was doing the same thing regardless of whether using template overrides or the defaults. And I’m pretty sure it’s just a theme thing with mine, because if I change it to the default events view template, the title is kosher. But I can’t use that template because the size is all jacked compared to the rest of my theme.

MemberI’m actually rather surprised that it takes CSS tweaking to color code categories in this plugin. For a premium plugin, I was expecting better implementation of this very basic concept. I have users of the calendar that would have no idea what to do to make these color tweaks happen. I know there’s free calendars that offer this, but don’t seem to have the solid foundation that ECP has.
Any chance of this being on the roadmap?
Josh
MemberWell, I didn’t think about doing that because I’m having difficulty getting the Event titles to not display on the calendar/gridview at the moment.
Thanks for the quick response. Love the plugin so far.
Josh
MemberOh, sorry. Forgot to mention, I am running 2.0.3 and the latest WP update 3.3.1

MemberI’m having this same issue and can’t seem to rectify it. I’ve turned off all of my plugins and nothing seemed to change it. It obviously is a theme issue. I’m using U-Design
(by “Andon” http://themeforest.net/user/internq7/portfolio?ref=internq7) theme available via Themeforest.
If this is not going to play nice with my theme, could you point me in the way that I could go about just hard coding a generic Title in place?
Thanks.
