    Per comments on your Event Aggregator Status page:
    “Update April 11, 2018: Facebook have rolled out additional restrictions which will prevent us from facilitating imports from regular Facebook pages, except for any events where you have indicated interest in the event.”

    I’ve tried clicking “interested” on the event and then importing that single event and also tried importing from that page with a scheduled import. Neither works. How is it that we can import if we have indicated interest? Please provide the steps because it’s not working for me.

    Is there a forum where WE can contact facebook and voice our frustration with their changes and how they impact your plugin?

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access/) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an affect on a number of our users.

    We are currently figuring things out as they continue to evolve with the Facebook Privacy Policy. For now, the best places to check in on the status of our plugin’s access to Facebook are https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/ and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/.

    It seems that for right now, the best way to get imports to work is to create/import events with your own Facebook page.  I know this is not ideal, however it is the only consistent functionality that is working with Facebook imports right now.
