ParticipantN.B. Whilst the “System Information” below is from the live site I’m now working locally where all plugins and themes have been updated. I’d send you the information from my local copy but there’s no “Help” tab in there, for some reason.
Well, here goes..
When a ticket is added and the details filled in everything works nicely.
However, when a user returns to edit the ticket the edit form has 2 price fields, the first has the original price and the second is blank. If the user doesn’t remember that there’s a bug and, therefore, doesn’t remember to put the actual price into the second price box a save on the ticket will set the price to 0.
Additionally, the “Sale Price’ field contains the ID of the event when editing a ticket. This might no cause any problems but I thought I’d mention it.
See screenshot.
Any help gratefully received.

MemberHi.
The older versions of our plugins had the System Information at wp-admin > Events > Settings > Help tab. The newer versions of our plugins has it at wp-admin > Events > Help (not in Settings).
The only time I’ve heard of duplicate information for Event Tickets Plus & WooCommerce is when the user had our legacy WooTickets plugin active at the same time. I’m guessing that’s not your case.
For curiosity’s sake–and if you know how to use your browser’s inspector–could you please provide details (e.g. name, classes, etc.) about each of these 2 price fields?
To get to a solution, though, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:
There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
- Downloads / Version Numbers
- License Keys
- TEC Automatic Updates
- or TEC Manual Updates
- WordPress core updates
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.

MemberGotcha.
I see you’re using The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets version 3.12.1
That plugin was replaced with Event Tickets Plus over a year ago.
You’ll need to use our new Event Tickets plugin and, optionally, its paid add-on Event Tickets Plus. Everyone with a legacy “tickets” plugin (e.g. WooTickets, EDD Tickets) should already have a copy of Event Tickets Plus in their account. You can read more at Moving to Event Tickets Plus.
However, I see both your WooTickets (legacy) and Event Tickets Plus licenses expired in August 2016.
You can go to your Licenses page and click the Renew button next to Event Tickets Plus if you’d like.
Please review these links and let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Cliff,
Thanks for your help my friend.
I will look into the move from the legacy ticketing plugin to the new solutions.
Regarding licences, we have valid licenses for the live site (possibly staging too) but not for my local copy.
Thanks again!
Michael.

MemberI was referring to the licenses attached to this account. If you have another account for ET+ licenses, please use that account in the future if you do have ET+ questions.
Have a great day.
