ParticipantI seem to be having the same problem described in this bug report:
Editing tickets with discounts causes the discount to be rendered as the price
Every time I edit a ticket that gets a discount, the discounted price is placed in the price field. This means that every time I edit the ticket, the price goes down. That is, unless I put the correct price back in that field before saving the ticket, but that is annoying. The account editing the tickets happens to belong to a member, and that may not have been accounted for when resolving the original bug. That is, it may have assumed that the administrator is not also a member. Somehow WooCommerce has managed to avoid this bug in their product editing, so it should be fixable.

KeymasterHi again,
Thanks for reporting this!
We came across this case not long ago. Please check my reply in this thread, that should give a bit of an explanation.
The workaround for this would be having a user who is not part of any membership plan and discounts and edit the ticket prices with that user.
We also have an internal bugticket on file and our developers will look at it.
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released. In case you would like to get an update in the meantime, then give me a ping.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.
Thanks and cheers,

ParticipantWe had the same issue happen today while a new member admin was editing a ticket’s quantity. His membership discount rule kicked in an overwrote the price by a lot. He’s now fully aware of this dangerous bug, but it’s such an unnoticeable thing that’s counter-intuitive to consciously work around. Often times admins require memberships to test that the discounts are working. On the human/member-relations side, it’s challenging to explain to a future attendee that there was a mistake and that they need to reprocess their transaction and pay a lot more. If you let the mistake go, then there’s jealousy between members who ‘got lucky’ and paid a lot less. Overall, the plugins have been a wonderful improvement. Keep up the great work Team Tribe and we look forward to the fix!
