Widget not showing up in sidebar after updating Events plugin

I updated my events plugin last week and just now noticed the sidebar widgets with the calendar don’t show up any more, so I assume it was related. I tried to add the widget again and I don’t see any options for activating an events calendar widget now.

Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.  Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates). 

Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

Also, can you send a private reply here of your System Info? It can help us further diagnose the issues.

When you disabled all other plugins and used a default theme, per the Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/, did you find the widget worked?

I believe you might have a plugin or theme conflict.
