Noticed that when you try to add an event and the image is too large, it spins and then just comes back to the add an event form. No error message or warning is presented and there is no information on the add form letting the users know file size or image size limitations.

    Hello John,

Can you try increasing the PHP memory for your website? Here is a link on how to do that: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/?

Let me know if that helps.

Also, are you running the latest version of the Community Events plugin?

Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?

Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s something with your theme?

Hello again John, in case it helps, I found a post that tells how to remove the option to add an image in the community events area: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/remove-image-upload-in-event-add/

Regarding the “slowness”, I found a forum post here about it https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/slowing-down-site/

That post was started earlier this year and it seems like it is a known problem. The good news is that we did make an improvement in 2.0.8 and have plans to make even more improvements when 2.1 comes out, hopefully later this year, but we can’t be sure.

    Very sorry about this!
