GuestI need following:
A calendar with a list view which I can change the layout, for example the order from each elemen. Then it should be possible to filter the list by categories.
Which plugin I need?
Is it enough to buy the events calendar pro? Or do I need “Filter bar” also?
Thanks for hour help

MemberHi Sandra.
Thanks for your interest in our plugin suite.
Filter Bar makes it easier for the user to navigate to each of your Event Categories. However, even the free/core plugin allows you to display events per category, like yoursite.com/events/category/sports
PRO enables additional views (Map, Photo, Week), recurring events, extra widgets and shortcodes, and more.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

GuestI insert folowing shortcode on my site: [ecs-list-events contentorder=’date, title, venue’], on the plugin-page I see I can change the template by copying the template file. But I try it with every file, nothing is happen. I don’t find the right file.
Can you help me? I want to change the list view. What code and what file I need?

MemberSandra,
I do not recognize the “ecs-list-events” shortcode. That’s not from our plugins.
The shortcodes are available in our PRO upgrade. Here are the help articles for our plugin’s widgets and shortcodes.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

GuestI use this plugin “The Events Calendar Shortcode”, too. But I understand now, thanks for your help.
Other questuin, if I change the plugin from normal to pro, the events don’t disappear? I do not have to register?November 28, 2016 at 9:37 am #1198485Cliff
MemberSandra,
We have 2 core plugins:
All our paid products are add-ons for one of those 2. Event Tickets Plus is the only one that’s an add-on for Event Tickets. All other add-ons are for The Events Calendar.
So, in your case, PRO would be an add-on for The Events Calendar, and you’d run the core plugin at the same time as running the PRO plugin.
Please follow our New User Primer for additional details how to get started with PRO.
Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
