Conor
ParticipantWhen I activate The Events Calendar PRO, I receive the following warning messages:
Warning: hash_equals(): Expected user_string to be a string, boolean given in …/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1671
Warning: hash_equals(): Expected user_string to be a string, boolean given in …/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1677It only happens when Events Calendar PRO is active. When I deactivate Events Calendar PRO, the warning messages disappear and all seems to function fine.
To test if there was a plugin conflict, I deactivated all other plugins besides The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO, and the warning messages still appeared, stating the exact same as above.
To test if there was a theme conflict, I attempted to revert the theme to Twenty Fourteen (as recommended by Modern Tribe) and I still receive the same two warning messages above, plus a new warning that states:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at …/wp-includes/pluggable.php:1671) in …/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121April 26, 2016 at 10:18 pm #1107531Cliff
MemberConor, thanks for the detailed question. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I see from your system report that you’re using WordPress version 3.9.11, and I do not see TEC PRO active so I cannot tell what version of PRO you’re trying to activate and getting issues with.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically do what you did before all over again) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.
If it doesn’t, please share your System Information (new report since you will have updated and hopefully activated TEC PRO). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Let us know what you find out.
Thanks.
