Want map to display all events by default

Hello,

I have seen some support forum replies that reference ways to customize map-view to display all events while only displaying several events below.

I am aware that currently map-view only displays events on current page of events.

Are there any updated ways to make the map-view display all calendar events by default after the recent plugin/theme updates for developers using Avada 4.0.2?

Requiring a user to navigate through pages of events is not intuitive design.
This is especially true because of the lack of a native level of guidance for the user to know that more events will display through pagination. It is unfortunate that there is not a more easily toggled option to decide what amount of events display on first glance.

The first snippet shared in that post should be particularly helpful if your “Events” page’s default view is the Map View. If your default view is another view, and then users manually change to the Map View, then both the first and second snippet will likely be required.

That code should work, and whatever changes happen in Avada should not affect this code. If you suspect it does, then I would recommend temporarily activating a default theme like Twenty Twelve or Twenty Sixteen. Then, implement those custom code snippets. See how things behave—if they work, then try activating Avada. If things break, then the Avada theme is identified as the culprit and you can reach out to the Avada support team for further assistance from there as to why the theme breaks those snippets….
