Events not showing up on map

Hello!

Some of my events are now showing up on the Map View. I found your instructions to ” head over to Events → Settings, there is a section called Map Settings and a button that says “Fix venues data.” But when I go to Events-Settings, I didn’t see the “Fix venues data.” Is there another step I can take to try to get the events on the map? I already added the longitude and latitude.

That notice and option to reset should only show if the information is missing for the venues. It sounds like this information is properly set on your site.

Do you happen to have a link to your site where I can take a closer look at the map view there. There are a couple of potential issues that could be occurring here and seeing the issue live will help me to get you pointed in the right direction.

Hey Christina,

Thanks for following up with that information.

The Map view will show points on the map associated with the events associated below that are currently displaying. If you paginate over to where the event is listed below (http://laudatosiweek.org/index.php/events/?action=tribe_geosearch&tribe_paged=3&tribe_event_display=map) you’ll see the event show on the map.

Additionally, if you search in PA using the search tools there the event will show up on the map view there.

I have another questions. This event: http://laudatosiweek.org/index.php/event/encuentro-ecumenico-por-la-madre-tierra/ is not showing up on the map. Do you know why?

For that event, can you verify that the venue address is a properly formatted address for that location? Also, if you search for a similar location in the “near” field, is there a proper potential location response that shows up in the resulting dropdown there?
