How can I have the phone# display in the Primary Information in the Attendee view and not having to go to the order to get the phone#? I also need it to be included in the send attendee list via email.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe you will absolutely love the following extensions:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/add-event-and-attendee-information-to-woocommerce-order-details/
If I am not mistaken, that should cover your needs.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

The first plugin solved part of the issue. But I need the phone# to be in the email sent out when clicking the button to send it out. This is because the client uses that function to email the list to the course coordinators. Could you extend the plugin to do that? It would make the functionality much more consistent. And I guess also include it in the csv export for consistency for people who use that.
Thanks!

September 5, 2017 at 7:50 pm #1345258Geoff B.MemberGood evening Ben,
I am glad you are getting closer to the goal.
Thank you for clarifying that you want to add the phone number to the email sent from the Attendees screen.
Yes, there is actually a ticket open to extend that extension to do exactly this. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.
But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the update is released.
You might want to try the following snippet for the CSV report: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/25e98c2dddac3d67a02d2e8e4c8da813
If you cannot wait, you could also try to undertake the customization yourself: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Do you have a link to the ticket?

What should that do? It produced the exact same csv when I tested.
It would also be useful if the phone number was in the “Primary Information” column like the email address.
Thanks,
Ben

Thank you for writing back.
Do you have a link to the ticket?
Tickets are internal to our company. As such, they are not shared publicly.
The good news is that this support thread is now linked to that ticket.
Therefore, you will be advised the second the upgrade on the extension is performed. What should that do? It produced the exact same csv when I tested.
This is actually my bad, this snippet is outdated.
It would also be useful if the phone number was in the “Primary Information” column like the email address.
That is a very valid point. I will add it to the ticket.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for writing back.
Alas know, that snippet was meant to bring the attendee info to the CSV export after an update a while back. If I am not mistaken that snippet is no longer necessary.
So in short, unfortunately at this point, there are only 2 options available:
- Wait for the extension to be updated
- Take on the customization yourself or with the help of one our recommended customizers
Best regards,
Geoff B.
