user/reader generated events?

This plug in seems to have everything I want, cannot find the answer to this though.

I want my readers/users to be able to input events, and then my staff will just approve them. Can that be done?

Community Events can allow users to submit events as a draft that requires a staff member to approve. See:

Yes, we have a basic search included within The Events Calendar (free). See the top line of WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/.

Advanced search features are part of Filter Bar, which is the 2nd row on the demo site.
