    Hi:

    We want to use Tickets Plus (Probably with Calendar Pro) for our Learning Management site. We will be administering both live classes (recurring at different locations) and online classes. The live classes will be recurring every couple of weeks. Sometimes, because of a conflict a user will need to reschedule a class from one week to another. Can the user go in and reschedule their registration/ticket to another date themselves?

    I have not actually purchased yet, so I really would like to have some insight on best combination of products. For example, when a user registers for a class, will they have the option of having it load in their calendar, say with Events Calendar (Pro)? We need to get more information from people than just name and address. That type of thing. We are using Woocommerce as part of this site.

    Can the user go in and reschedule their registration/ticket to another date themselves?

    By configuring your plugin settings to restrict RSVPs/ticket purchases to registered users only, a user may log in to their account to change or edit their details on their RSVP or ticket. In addition, RSVPs can be cancelled directly by the user. However, paid tickets cannot be cancelled by the user and must be manually refunded and cancelled by a site administrator. Administrators can also manually move ticketed users to another event if the user need to reschedule; users cannot perform this action on their own.

    For example, when a user registers for a class, will they have the option of having it load in their calendar, say with Events Calendar (Pro)?

    Single events that are viewed in The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO will display with options to export the event details in iCal/ICS format or add the event to a Google Calendar. Since our plugins do not support user-specific calendars, events aren’t added to a user’s calendar manually after a user RSVPs or purchases a ticket–users must export events out to save on their own local calendars.

    We need to get more information from people than just name and address.

    Not a problem! You can add additional fields to collect more information from your attendees using the Attendee Information feature of Event Tickets Plus. You can read more about how to use this feature on our Knowledgebase here.

    Based on your stated needs here, it sounds like a setup with The Events Calendar for your core calendar functionality, Events Calendar PRO for recurring events, Event Tickets for core ticketing functionality, and Event Tickets Plus for paid ticketing with WooCommerce might be the best fit for you. However, please note that full support for ticketing recurring events is not yet available with Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus. If offering individual tickets for your recurring events is crucial to your intended setup, you may wish to hold off on purchasing this combination of products until this functionality is ready for primetime. (As a temporary workaround, you can create a single event for the first date in your recurring event series, add your tickets to that event, and duplicate the event using a third-party post duplication plugin, changing the duplicated event’s date each time to create any future occurrences in the series.)
