Updating

    I am having issues updating The Events Calendar PRO plugin from 4.2.5 to 4.2.6. I repeatedly get the error message “Update Failed: Download failed. Too many redirects”

    Help! …I get the same error when updating Event Tickets Plus

    Thanks for getting in touch with us, and sorry to hear about this issue 🙁

    Let me start by saying I never heard of this issue before! For now, you can perform a manual update of the plugins following this guide → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

    I would also like to investigate a bit more on this issue, it would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end.

    Thanks for sending the system information over Robert! I’ve set your reply to private just for it not to be publicly visible.

    Everything looks good in the setup of the site, I don’t see anything that I can relate to the update problem you are experiencing. I have also tested that update (PRO 4.2.5 > 4.2.6) and everything went smoothly.

    Could you perform a manual update? If you try the auto update does it still show that error?
