I have noticed that the last two or three times I’ve updated Events Calendar PRO, the update deactivates the plugin, which I then have to activate. This did not happen in the past. So far I’ve immediately noticed this issue when it has happened, but I worry about missing it in the future and our editors not having the ability to use the features of PRO until the problem is corrected.

    Hi Stephen

I’m sorry to hear that is happening. I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue myself. Can you send us your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info?

Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.  Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.

Finally, you could delete the Events Calendar Pro from your site, and redownload the plugin from My Account » Downloadss and upload/activate it again on your site.

Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

    Thanks
    Courtney 🙂

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
