ParticipantHi again,
Can’t find the former thread where I posted my issue… Don’t know why. (even not under my posted threads) First of all after updating to v 4.10 the url was broken. after downgrading calender and calender pro to v 4.07 the url roots to 404 page. so no solution as well. now the problem is, that there is no possibilty to sell tickets online and this is a big problem. please solve this issue as fast as possible. there were different posting from users from germany, who shared the same problems.
best

ParticipantHi there
can you estimate how long it will take to solve this problem?

MemberHi Florian,
Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Can you try updating The Events Calendar to 4.1.0.1 (just released!), flush your permalinks by visiting the Permalink Settings screen (you need not change anything, though) and see if that resolves this?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry
Thx for your quick response. It is still leading to a 404 page. I tested both versions – event calender 4.101 plus event calender pro 4.1 as well as event calender 4.101 plus event calender pro 4.0.7. What else can I do?
Regards

MemberJust to clarify, which URL specifically is the problem here – the main events page or individual event pages (or both)?
What do you expect the URL to look like (I’m asking simply because not everyone has the same event slugs). Could you also share, by private reply, your system information?
Thanks!

MemberHi Flo,
Sorry for not being clearer – but for future reference this is the system info we generally ask for:
theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Before you go any further though, can I ask you to visit Events → Settings → General and re-save that screen (you may need to amend the event slug field, save, then set it back and save again): does that resolve this? We found that worked for a different user with an otherwise very similar problem.

MemberHi Florian,
My mistake with the proposed settings page fix: the slug setting is indeed within Events → Settings → General, however please visit Events → Settings → Display and toggle some of the selected views on and off – save the change then restore the actual set of views you wish to use – and save again.
Does that help?

Member… The redirection part of the problem, from /veranstaltungskalender/ to /kalendar/, does seem pretty odd. If the above steps don’t help would you be able to try our standard troubleshooting steps?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry
Yesss! To change the display-setting made a difference. Now the main calender page seems to work fine again (http://paedagogtheater.de/kalender/). Thx a lot. What do you think about updating? Should I stay or should I go? Wait till the next update?
Thx a lot once again

MemberIn general, I’d recommend staying up-to-date: if this glitch does occur again in the process of updating things definitely let us know – but I’d hope that the fix remains the same 🙂
