ParticipantHi,
I recently bought your Events Calendar Pro, Community Tickets, Community Events and Event Tickets Plus plugins and these are working pretty good so far.
1. I have been trying to setup Paypal Adaptive Payments but no luck.
Here is the config:
1. Tried withWooCommerce Paypal Standard is off and on
2. Enable Split payments is turned on
3. Sandbox setting is ticked on
4. Used sanbox settings to testBuy and event ticket and move to checkout. Tried to fill in all the requried buyers details and click on Proceed to Paypal and below error is displayed. “An error has occurred while processing your payment, please try again. Or contact us for assistance.”
2. Tried the same using Live details and no luck either. Unsure if any PayPal settings or App needs to be applied or setup.
3. Have tried to deactivate all plugins other than WooCommerce and ticketing plugins.
4. what decides how much will be paid to the ticket seller and how much will be paid to our account for any tickets sold?
Your help with be highly appreciated.
Thank you.April 11, 2016 at 5:40 am #1100717Josh
ParticipantHey Tac,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
As an initial step, we have a great knowledgebase article that’ll help with the proper setup for how the PayPal integration should work with our plugin. If you follow that particular process there, does the issue persist?
The split between site owner and seller is determined by the Flat Fee or Percentage fee that you add within the Community Tickets settings. When a user creates the ticket, the user would receive the amount they set per ticket and you as the site owner would receive the fee that is set within those settings.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi,
Do we have any update on the query above? I really like your plugins and would like to make it work before 30 days refund period has passed.
Looking forward to your support and operational paypal split payments.
Thanks.

ParticipantHey Tac,
Thanks for verifying that you were able to follow the steps in the knowledgebase item above. As a next step, would you mind following the steps in this response which should give us some additional information about what may be going on here.
Also, in addition to providing the information from above in a private reply, would you mind sending the System Information from the Event Settings > Help tab in a private reply as well.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Tac,
I’m terribly sorry for the delay here. I missed this one in my queue last week.
Thanks for providing the additional information here. It looks like you do have the latest versions of all the plugins and you have previously mentioned that you did try deactivating the other plugins without success here.
Was hoping to see a little more detail from the PayPal debugging here however I will follow up with one of our developers to see if they have some more information to add here.
In the meantime, can you give me a little more detail about where in the checkout process the plugin fails for you? Also, are there any errors/warnings given when a transaction fails?
Also, do you have PayPal set up for general transactions within WooCommerce. This can occasionally add two PayPal buttons to a checkout. If so, it’s possible that the checkout is using the general PayPal checkout via WooCommerce.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Josh,
Thank you for your response.
My answers in bold below:
In the meantime, can you give me a little more detail about where in the checkout process the plugin fails for you? Also, are there any errors/warnings given when a transaction fails?
@ANSWER: This was describe in the initial description when I raised the ticket. Here’s it again:1. Click on Buy an event ticket
2. Redirect to checkout page
3. Filled in all the required details
4. Click on Proceed to Paypal
5. Here and below error is displayed. “An error has occurred while processing your payment, please try again. Or contact us for assistance.”Also, do you have PayPal set up for general transactions within WooCommerce. This can occasionally add two PayPal buttons to a checkout. If so, it’s possible that the checkout is using the general PayPal checkout via WooCommerce.
ANSWER: Yes, I had Paypal for general transactions turned on but I’ve now turned it off to see if there’s any conflict. Still getting the same issue. Refer to screenshot below(cropped to show only Paypal info)Thanks!

ParticipantHey Tac,
Thanks for following up and providing the additional screenshot. I apologize that I missed that original note when looking back over the thread.
I’m currently speaking with one of our developers over this issue. After applying the debugging filter from the linked support thread, did you find the logs at WooCommerce → System Status → Logs with a dropdown labeled “tribe-adaptive-payments-abcxyz (date)” that you were able to select from? Or was the resulting log you provided from a default option there?
Thanks!
