Tribe bar not working with shortcode

Hi!

I have a problem with the tribe bar when using the [tribe_events] shortcode.

The tribe-bar is not really working. The date selection is not showing up when clicking in the date field, and the view selector (month, week, etc.) is not visible at all (see screenshot 1).

Additionally, the view selector is not a ul like on the default events page, it is a <select> which is set to “display:none”. When displaying it (screenshot 2), it is possible to choose a view (e.g. week) and show it when clicking the “Find Events” button, but no events are visible in that view (not true for all views).

All in all, the shortcode calendar tribe-bar is quite messed up. Is it possible to get the same tribe-bar behaviour as in the default events calendar page? (dropdown visible, automatically applied after selection, etc.).

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

I’m sorry you are experiencing issues with the shortcode and the tribe bar. Let me help you dig down to the bottom of this and get this fixed for you.

As a first I would like to ask you to share with me your system information so I can give you better support.

Also it would be great if you could do a test for conflicting plugins and themes. I would start with switching to a default theme like twentysixteen.
