ParticipantEvents are disappearing once the day has started. For example, we have an event entered for today and already it is not only showing on list or calendar view, but the URL no longer works. Our plug-ins are up-to-date.

Let’s see if we can get this solved. First off – what do you have for your End of day cutoff setting found under Events > Settings > General? (see screenshot below)

If that doesn’t help, try running through our Testing for conflicts article to see if you have a theme and/or plugin conflict going on.

ParticipantWe have the cut off as 5 am.
Also, even though we say to keep events for 24 months, they are being deleted immediately when the day starts (so they aren’t even in the feed). This is theme independent.

ParticipantI am having the same problem where events disappear on the day they are scheduled. This is devastating, as our clients cannot reference the website for the daily schedule.
I went through the checking for conflicts routine addressed above. The results were the same – the event for today is not visible. It appears that there isn’t an event scheduled for today – but there is.
I am working with Theme X, which your forum indicates is compatible with your plugin.
Please let me know your thoughts on this, as I need this resolved.

I just tried replicating the issue on my local test environment but was unfortunately able to do so. I created an event for today (2/26/16) and set the event start time to 5:00pm. My end-of-day cutoff setting is set to 5:00am and my WPÂ timezone setting is set to Los Angeles. (see screenshot below)

Just to confirm, you are still experiencing the issue when reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all plugins except for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, correct? I’m also going to bring this topic up to some other team members to see if they have any ideas.
To Janet: would you mind opening a new thread in regards to the issue you’re experiencing? Even though you appear to be having similar troubles, there could be different causes. Splitting up the threads helps expedite the process all around.

ParticipantWe are still experiencing no matter what. Also, the event disappears right before or as it starts (so full day events disappear as the day starts) and your 5:00 even would go away at 5 pm or close to it.

Thanks for the patience on your end while I did more research. I regret to inform you that we don’t have any logged bugs and there doesn’t seem to be an influx of users experiencing the problem you’re describing.
I wish I was able to provide more support; but without being able to reproduce the issue and without it being a known issue, there is really not much I can do :-/
My best guess is that you have a theme and/or plugin conflict in play. One other recommendation I have would be to try a fresh WP install with only our plugins and see if you’re able to reproduce the issue.
