Hi all-
We just recently upgraded to Tickets Plus + Community Tickets.
Now when we access the Edit Event screen from the front-end, we are missing some critical data and tickets area shows up twice. We haven’t touched those templates other than wrapping all the tribe templates in our header/footer.

I’m sorry to hear about these issues! I cannot recreate them on my own testing site, so for starters I’m curious to learn more about your site. To that end, can you share your “System Information” with us? Here’s how → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
I would also like to note that I removed the username and password you posted above—we unfortunately cannot log into user sites for any reason, and with this in mind plus the security considerations of having that information on this forum (even though it was in a private reply), I’ve removed the information. I have not logged into your site and cannot do so at any point going forward.
While you’re in the process of getting the System Information as mentioned above, I would also recommend trying to activate a default theme on your site. This is a great test to see if your customized templates are a factor here at all—based on your description, they are likely NOT a factor, but it’s still worth testing to rule this out.
Activate a default theme like Twenty Sixteen, or Twenty Twelve, etc., and take a look at where these issues manifest presently—do the same issues persist? Is there any difference in display and functionality?
Thank you!

March 29, 2016 at 10:08 am #1095506GeorgeParticipantThanks for posting this information! It reveals that all of your The Events Calendar plugins are out of date: Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, Community Events, all of them.
The first order of business here, then, is to update all plugins to their latest versions.
The latest versions for all of those plugins is 4.1 and the files can be accessed here → http://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
The Events Calendar itself is version 4.1.0.1 and can be grabbed here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar. Event Tickets is, of course, on WordPress.org too. http://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets
Updated everything and let me know what issues persist…
Thank you!
GeorgeMarch 29, 2016 at 10:57 am #1095540yvesrnParticipantThanks – that seemed to help some with date info, but still have missing meta for organizer and category.
March 29, 2016 at 11:13 am #1095554GeorgeParticipantInteresting—can you clarify exactly what you mean by “missing meta”?
March 29, 2016 at 11:19 am #1095555yvesrnParticipantThe category selected disappears and so does the organizer selected. I selected those itmes during event creation, but also again on the edit event screen (front-end) and when I go back into edit they are blank/missing.
March 29, 2016 at 1:51 pm #1095614GeorgeParticipantThank you for clarifying. I cannot produce any issues like that, so I’m wondering if you can try doing all of the steps on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
After EACH STEP in that process, try reproducing the problems you describe above. Does anything improve anywhere along the way?
Thank you,
GeorgeApril 5, 2016 at 1:54 pm #1098604yvesrnParticipantThanks George.
I’ve done some extensive testing against themes/plugins/etc.
I only seem to have this issue when running our custom theme, but the source is from tickets.min.js — very weird. I see the uncaught reference when I click edit on one of the tickets. Some event info still missing too.

Still investigating on our side, but curious if you’ve seen anything recently that is similar?

April 5, 2016 at 3:58 pm #1098678GeorgeParticipantThat’s a great find, and I appreciate all your investigating and patience here.
I have not seen that specific bug before and your testing reveals that the culprit is the theme (even if the bug doesn’t happen until the page loads that JS file).
I’m sorry about this fact because we cannot help with custom themes or any other code that we do not make ourselves. 🙁
Replacing the theme or hiring a professional developer to help resolve the problem are the main two ways to proceed from here.
I’m sorry to bear that news!
