Having the same problem as others reported. Using WooCommerce. The WooCommerce email arrives to admin, advising of the sale, the paypal email arrives with the customer, advising of the sale, but the Tickets Plus email doesn’t arrive. Email is sending fine from the domain (see above, re WC and also Contact Form 7).

I notice under Email Notifications in WooCommerce there is no ‘recipient’ indicated for ‘Tickets’, and no way to add that field. Is this related? I’ve tried everything else, including completing the ticket order, testing mail functionality, using different emails…

No, this should not be related. It’s normal that there is no recipient field there.

Out of curiosity, have you tried using a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/ to see if that helps ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Hi and thank you for your answer and for the system information,

I haven’t tried the extra plugin because the site sends emails fine (Wordfence, WP, Contact Form 7, Woocommerce). The plugin shouldn’t be required.

You make a good point. However, based on my experience, the WPmail method does fail for certain specific uses (for many technical reasons, including how the web host is set up).

I was just curious to see if you had tried it and if it helped. This has been super helpful to many clients experimenting the exact same issue as yours.

Based on the system information you have sent me, there are a couple of things worth investigating:

    • Your server currently uses PHP 5.3x which is known to not play well with some of our plugins functionalities. In fact, WordPress recommends using PHP 5.6x + . In my experience, 5.4x is fine for the moment. So if at all possible, after backups and instructions from your web hosting company, you might want to upgrade that.
    • Could you also please go through our complete testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out. In other words, we want to rule out any incompatibility.

If you find that your theme is the cause of the incompatibility (as opposed to a default WordPress theme), could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
