We were advised to upgrade to Event Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus for compatibility with the latest version of WordPress (please see here for reference: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/add-to-cart-function-disappears-when-updating-plugin/). However using the new plugins when we create recurring events and add tickets into them, they only appear in the first event and not the recurring ones, so this would have to be done manually for every occurrence of every event. This is functionality we had with the previous versions of the plugins but seems to have been removed.
Victor’s response is still current information for us. At this time, we do not yet have a way to use recurring events with tickets. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
