Hi there. Testing your plugin on a church client and using it for VBS registration. Even though the questions are marked required and when we test it prompts us to fill out the fields, we STILL have registrations coming in without the required information and no VIEW DETAILS on the order.

How is that possible and how can we fix it? Not having the details causes the client to have to circle back with the attendee, obviously, to get them and to the get the release.

I’ve included a link to a couple of screencast shots that show the required fields (marked with the asterisks), the resulting orders (some have view details and some don’t) and the resulting export where the details are missing.

    http://screencast.com/t/O2bqIUyW –>Required fields are marked.

http://screencast.com/t/91PiLcSgroYB –>Resulting export. I’ve obscured the data that recorded properly. Highlighted areas are those orders missing the required details.

Thanks, in advance, for your help.

    Hello Lee,

Thanks for sharing the images and the video. This is indeed strange behavior. I will try to help you solve this mystery. 🙂

For this, could you please share with me a full system information? Here is a guide on how to do that.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Lee,

    Thanks for the sysinfo!

Meanwhile I tested what you mentioned and I didn’t manage to reproduce the error.

This could be caused by a conflicting plugin or a theme. I would like to ask you to check if there are any conflicts based on this guide and confirm it back to me.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Greetings, Andras.

I think I’ve found it and need help fixing it. The difference between the ones recorded and the ones not recorded is this field:

    _tribe_wooticket_attendee_optout:

If that is set to 1, like this:
    _tribe_wooticket_attendee_optout: 1

Then the view details are available to us. If it is blank (as the first one) they are unavailable to the client.

Can you help us fix this?? It looks like they ALL need to be set to 1 or whatever field is causing this needs to be removed from the registration form.

    Hello again Lee,

Thanks for sharing the extra info! We’ve actually got a logged bug with the issue you described and our developers are hard at work fixing it. I’ve attached this thread for them to reference and have bumped up the priority so we can check it out for an upcoming release. I don’t have an exact date for when that is, but we do have an aggressive release schedule and try to release new versions twice a month.

Keep your eyes peeled to your wp-admin and theeventscalendar.com/blog for maintenance release info.

Sorry I don’t have a solution for you right now, but rest assured it is on it’s way!

And, of course, I will leave this thread open for now and follow up with you here when I know more.

    Cheers,
    Andras
