    Hey @Oded,

Really sorry to hear about this!

First, can you share your “System information” with us? Here’s how: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Next, can you please let us know what your permalinks settings are? These are seen in Settings > Permalinks in your wp-admin. For example, are they /%postname%/ ?

    Thank you!
    George

    Thanks for this information O.B.!

I was not able to spot anything problematic from looking over that information. And so with that in mind, there are two approaches that I can think of here:

First Approach: Contact WP Engine and Wait

The first approach is to contact WP Engine’s support team and report these issues – WP Engine is a great company, but they’re notorious for very specific rules and configurations of their server environments, so something about their environment could be the whole cause of this.

Second Approach: Troubleshoot More and then Contact WP Engine

The other approach I can think of would unfortunately require a bit of work on your end, which I’m sorry about! However, for the sake of thoroughness it is the one I would recommend.

Basically, this second option is to run through the full set of troubleshooting steps outlined here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

After each step in that process, go to Settings > Permalinks in your admin area, and just click “Save Changes” without actually making any changes. This may seem like an odd thing to do but is a little “trick” within WordPress to get the permalinks across your site to refresh.

Then check out the events page and see if the problems with it showing up persist – if things suddenly work anywhere in this process, then what we can confirm is that there’s a code conflict causing the problems, code from either another plugin on your site or from your theme…

If you do this whole process and still have problems, then just go back to the first method and reach out to WP Engine anyways (with the added note that you’ve tried deactivating other plugins and your theme and such, which will be helpful!).

Let me know what you think, and if you choose one course of action, let me know what you choose and find!

    Cheers,
    George
