ParticipantMy site was affected in yesterdays 4.1.0 update fail – I have updated to the latest versions, as per Nico’s most recent instructions in the ‘UPDATE crashed my site’ forum post.
He also says:
One more thing, if you are seeing 404s on the calendar URL after the update please re-save permalinks (WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks > Save Changes) and also re-save event general settings (WP-Admin > Events > Settings > General > Save Changes). That should solve the issues if any.
I’m aware this update solves the original issues described by Stephan, if someone else continues to have problems with the update please open up a new topic so someone in the support team is able to help you directly.I have done both saves and we are still seeing a 404 on our main event page: http://thezoo.com.au/shows/
What else can be done?

ModeratorHello and thanks for posting,
Would you mind sharing your System Information as a private reply? Also, we released a quick fix maintenance release for The Events Calendar (version 4.1.0.1). If you haven’t already, update to that version then try running through Nico’s aforementioned steps to see if you’re able to resolve the 404 issue.
Thanks again for the post and for choosing PRO. Have a good weekend!

ParticipantI am having the same issue. And, I have a very unhappy client with and many of their 12,000 facebook followers calling and reporting the issue.
Tried the suggested remedy.

ParticipantHi Guys,
I followed Nico’s advice at this forum post: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/v-4-1-cant-view-events-page/#post-1091184 and it all seems to be working now.
Thanks very much for all your help.
