ParticipantHi folks. I have both pro versions of Calendar and Tickets plugins. We used Woo Tickets and the Calendar with much success months ago and now I’m having some problems. I believe it is because of confusion as to which plugins need to be active or not. When trying to create a recurring event, I see features missing ? and new venue does not want to stay saved among other things…Could you take a look under the hood ?

ParticipantHey @Mattboggs,
Thanks for reaching out! While we cannot log into customer sites (in case that’s what you meant by “take a look under the hood”), we can definitely help out here.
To get the ball rolling, can you address the following pointed questions in the order they appear? Thank you in advance if so!
1. What plugins are activated on your site? Not just installed—but activated?
2. What specific problems do you face?
3. What is your site’s “system information”? Please paste the whole, complete, un-edited System Information from your site into this thread. Here’s how to do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
☝️ The information resulting from these above questions should help a lot!
Cheers,
GeorgeMay 23, 2016 at 5:37 pm #1118029mattboggs

ParticipantThank you for this—in regards to the system information, can you clarify what you mean when you say “cannot load tribe-app-shop”?
There are no “app shop” requirements or anything here; all you have to do to share system information is use the settings page called “Help”, then copy and paste ALL of the system information there into a reply here. This page covers the exact process ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
If you cannot access the “Help” settings page, then please try all of the steps on this page ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/. After EACH STEP in that process, try getting to the settings page again and see if it works any better.
What do you find?
Thank you,

ParticipantThank you for all of this testing and information!
I noticed that your site’s version of Event Tickets Plus is 4.0.3, which is outdated. The plugin is currently at version 4.1.3.
You can grab the latest version of the plugin files here ? https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
Also, I notice that Event Tickets is not activated or installed on your site. This is not a “free version” of Event Tickets Plus; Event Tickets is the “core” plugin, and Event Tickets Plus is an add-on to the core plugin.
So please also make sure that Event Tickets is installed and activated, which can be downloaded any time here ? https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets/
1. Install and activate Event Tickets
2. Update Event Tickets Plus
3. Take a look at the same issues you have been reportingHow do things behave?

ParticipantThank you for this. I know I have recommended some troubleshooting steps before, but you replied with the comment, “With the above plugins on\off, the site disabled.” Does this mean that when you deactivated plugins on your site, the site shut down?
If not, then I would recommend doing the following steps:
1. Deactivate EVERY SINGLE PLUGIN on your site except for ONLY these specific plugins, nothing else:
• The Events Calendar
• Event Tickets
• Event Tickets Plus
• WooCommerce☝️ Any other plugin, whether related to The Events Calendar or a simple little plugin or anything at all, please deactivate it.
2. Once all but those above four plugins are deactivated, create a new event for testing purposes, add new tickets for testing purposes to that event, and then do some test purchases of this ticket.
3. Does anything change with regards to the QR Codes?
4. If issues persist, then leave all but the above four plugins deactivated as-is, and then also activate a default theme like Twenty Twelve or Twenty Sixteen.
5. Then, repeat step #2 here: create test event, test tickets, “buy” some, see if QR Codes behave differently.
6. What do you find?
I am sorry to recommend this, but cannot recreate your issues and so this is the only thing that I can recommend at this time to try and reveal issues.
Thank you for your patience! I am sorry for all the trouble here—it’s an odd issue that we cannot recreate, and that there are no known bugs for. So this extra investigating and testing on your end is unfortunately the only step from here to try and reveal the problem.
Sincerely,
GeorgeMay 27, 2016 at 9:24 am #1119749mattboggs
ParticipantThere was a few repeated instances where I had to turn off all the plugins and reactivate because the site would go down. I have since solved that problem. I will not be able to take these suggested steps right away as the museum just opened today and it’s a holiday weekend (busy). It all works now except generating a QR code.
May 27, 2016 at 9:30 am #1119752George
ParticipantThank you for confirming this, @Mattboggs. I am sorry about the timing of these issues and the repeated requests for the sorts of troubleshooting steps I describe above!
I cannot recreate any issues with the QR Code generation; so, if you are still interested in trying to figure out why that’s happening sometime, when things are a bit less busy perhaps, I would recommend the steps I posted in the last post of mine in this thread above this one.
Thank you for your patience here!
