Some import feeds not working

Most of feeds from Facebook work fine but there are a couple that stubbornly will not feed properly. This is one:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/ourrevolutionthurston/events/
This organization has upcoming events on their page for April 12, April 14, April 16, April 19, May 6, December 31. But none of these are being imported or showing in a preview. Their name “Our Revolution Thurston” also does not properly import.

Another feed that does not work properly is this one: https://www.facebook.com/groups/gpsps/events/
The name also does not feed properly.

There have been others in the past that have not worked, but these are the two pesky ones right now.

Is there something unusual about these two feeds that they don’t work?

I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this problem.

Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.

I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.

Is there something in common with these? In case this helps you figure out what is wrong…

Thanks for following up with this issue.

Unfortunately, due to the most recent restrictions from Facebook, Event Aggregator is effectively blocked from importing events from Facebook. (Learn more about the issue here). This is also the reason for group imports not working on your end.

Hi Victor,

Yes, I just discovered your post earlier this morning. It looks like it will still import personal calendars for events that you mark you are Going to or Interested in.  Is this true?

Hi Carolyn!

I don’t think this is true for most users, as Facebook imports seem to not work whatsoever.

If you are able to import from a specific event, would you mind sharing the event URL so we can run some tests with it?
