ParticipantHey,
I’ve migrated a web-page from one test sight to another – it is still under construction. The migration worked perfectly, but the links to View all events, Calendar view, Image view and Venues are broken. View all Events I could fix by changing the Events URL slug in the settings. But how can I get back the Calender view and Image view. Link to the page:

….here is also a link were you can switch between the different calender views: http://whm25.louhi.net/~uusimaas/tapahtumat2/Hopefully you can help me really soon. Thank you in advance!
with kind regards,
Pamela

ModeratorHi Pamela,
Before we go too deep into the issue, can you visit your WordPress Admin Settings > Permalinks and simply hit the “Save Changes” button to see if it has any effect on the behavior? I’ll also need you to review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you find out.
When testing, please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.
If you’d rather not go through the troubleshooting process on your live site, it’s recommended doing it on a test site. Please review our Using One License for Live and Dev Sites tutorial.
Please let me know the results and we’ll continue the troubleshooting process. Take care 🙂

ModeratorHi Pamela,
Welcome back. Can you please send your System Information as a private reply? I’ll also need you to confirm you’ve reverted back to the default WP theme and deactivated all plugins other than ours simultaneously as required in the Testing for conflicts guide. This is a required step to continue receiving support.
I also recommend visiting Events > Help > Recent Template Changes to ensure any custom template overrides (review the Themer’s Guide for more info) are not using old/outdated code.
Other worthy resources in this case is to re-read the New User Primer: The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, Settings Overview: The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, and Stylesheets and Page Templates.
One last idea I had: you might need to review the Using One License for Live and Dev Sites tutorial. The features you’re mentioning having issues with are all PRO-related, so it might be as simple as ensuring your license key is active on the site you’re working on at that particular moment.
Please let me know what you find out! Cheers 🙂

ModeratorHi Pamela,
Thank you for the update. I still need you to send your System Information as a private reply, so please send that over so I can continue providing support. Are any sites you’re currently working with related to this issue (live and/or dev) using https?
I also requested you test the issue again with WP_DEBUG set to “true” on your site’s wp-config.php file in addition to using your browser’s ‘Inspect’ tool. Doing so will help identify any warnings/errors which might help point us in the right direction. Please refer to my previous response which includes detailed instructions and let me know what you learn.
Please keep me updated and have a great weekend ahead. Cheers!

ParticipantHi Hunter,
I sorry, but this issue is still a problem. The updates that came last week from Events Calender, had some fixes because the Finnish links start working again, on the Swedish page only the Picture view and list view worked (not calendar view).
Today I tested in the Event Settings to change the URLs for “Events URL slug” and “Single event URL slug” after that calender view and picture view are again 404-pages.
Hopefully this can be fixed in some way.Pamela

ModeratorThank you for the update. I’ll provide all content relative to translating our plugins:
• https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/translating-the-events-calendar/
• https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-language-on-your-calendar/
• https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/
• https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/I’ve asked numerous times, so please review our tutorial on how to access your System Information and send it as a private reply.
When trying different options under the Events > Settings > Display tab, have you noticed any change in the behavior? IF you have created a page (WordPress > Pages > Add New) which has the same slug as what you’ve entered in the Events > Settings > General > Events URL slug field, you’ll need to delete the page,
I’d like to reiterate we’re limited on the level of support we can provide with theme conflicts. Hopefully my answer points to anything which might lead us in the right direction and we’ll go from there. Take care!

ModeratorThank you for sending over the System Information. When you did the transition, in what order did you import the event-related content? E.g. events, venues, then organizers last. I’m not seeing any bug reports relating to 404 errors.

ModeratorCan you try enabling Map view under Events > Settings > Display > Enable event views (if you have not already) and let me know if you experience the same behavior?
You also mention Photos went away in your previous response. What happens when you add a new event with a featured image? Does it show in Photo view?
Our WPML-master is away at the retreat, so once he’s back I’ll loop him into this conversation to see if he has any further insight on the matter. Let me know the answers to the questions I’ve posed above and we’ll continue investigating. Thanks for your patience and have a great weekend ahead!
