GuestHow can i properly showcase a list of TEC events on homepage without making /events a static home page? in WP? (I use Divi Theme)

MemberHello Pau,
Thanks for getting in touch! You could use the calendar widgets to show events on the homepage.
The plugin will always have a /events URL (unless you change slug to something else in the Settings), because that is the archive for events. In other words, /events is not a static page on it’s own but a dynamic archive of upcoming and past events.
If you have any technical questions about how this might work, please do hit us up in the open source forums and we’d be happy to help you out as best we can on our next pass.

GuestHi Geoff, many thanks for your prompt reply, but the idea is to show, not a list, but a feed of TEC in all its glory (thumbnail, title, date, vebue, excerpt, etc)
I think it would be great to be able to create an embedable feed, so a website that is vents based, can make the most of it on the homepage, where usually we have to display other things too..
I’ve tried the The Events Calendar Shortcode, burt seems limited and definitively out of date; Im saying that becuse I believe it’s an important issue that can make this already great plugin (TEC) perfect!
all the best

MemberHi Pau, thanks for following up!
It would certainly be possible to add a feed of events to any page template, but it might take some custom development to make it happen. I would recommend checking out this article on using the tribe_get_events() function as a means of creating a custom event query. From there, we do have our documentation available to give you an idea of the other functions that are available to customize things further.
Did you have any questions about any of our premium plugin features? If so, please do let me know and I’d be happy to help.
Cheers!
