GuestOn my website http://www.danst.org I need to upload lots of events. Most of these events are allready inserted at Facebook by the organisers. So integration from Facebook could do the trick. However I would need to know if I could arrange that:
1. Organisers could be linked to a dance-category
2. Venues could be linked to a location-category
That way I could service my future clients perfect! However great this might work, my fear is that it won’t work flaweless. Therefore it seems logical to me, to add on the Community Events, so that organisers can check their events and improve them when needed.
Is it possible to upload automatically from Facebook, and provide my clients to improve the automated events manually?
Or am I missing the point?

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.
1. Organisers could be linked to a dance-category
It could be possible, but would involve a customization, which is beyond the support we can provide.
2. Venues could be linked to a location-category
Again, same as above, with customizations done following our themer’s guide:

Is it possible to upload automatically from Facebook, and provide my clients to improve the automated events manually?
If you want to use Community Events and organizer only has access to events to make changes if they submitted the event or is made the author of the event in the admin. They would not have direct access to the event imported from Facebook. There is no feature to automate that process, but it could be done with a customization.
Cheers

GuestJust a small question…
These customisations, are these simple ones? Let’s say, do you know an organisation that could build that for less than $100, if I exactly know what I want?February 8, 2016 at 10:08 am #1069617Menno Kuiper
GuestAnd another question… Could you upload for me 8 events, so I can see what work it would cost me to get them right? Because uploading rough form Facebook could still be a service that is wanted.

MemberI am not sure how simple the customizations are. They are not too complex, but the cost would depend on the developer.
I do not have a site to upload those events too that you can see and I am not able to do that on our demo site.
We do have a 30 day refund policy so you could try the plugins:
And this list of people that could help with customizations:
