Hi! I’m having the exact same issue as described here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/shortcode-and-page-refresh/

On 10/12, it was still on the list of Known Issues and was instructed to revert to version 4.5.XX until resolved. I can’t do that as we’re already in 4.6.1. However, today it’s no longer on the Known Issues list. Yet it is still a problem on my site. What is the status of this being resolved?

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out – I’m sorry to hear you’re running into this issue too! The fix for this is currently in development, and we hope to get it released here soon. In the meantime, if you would like to downgrade, you can do so by following these instructions. Please let me know if you have any questions on how to do this or if you run into any issues!

I linked this thread to our internal ticket for this bug, so you’ll be notified here as soon as we have an update. I’m sorry for the inconvenience here, and thanks for your patience as we work on getting this resolved!

    Hi,

I installed the most recent updates and this is still an issue. Here’s the URL when viewing “Next Page” from the home page: http://hearitthere.com/?action=tribe_geosearch&tribe_paged=2&tribe_event_display=map&featured=false

    Hi Miriam,

I’m sorry that it’s still not working for you! So far it seems that the update has helped for other users…can you try clearing out any caching that you may be doing at the site level (such as with a plugin) and also deactivate the “Enable month view cache” setting under Events > Settings > Display? Let me know if that makes a difference!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

I tried both recommendations, and it is still an issue. It’s bringing up a “Page not found” message in the Meta tags. Here’s the URL it creates: https://hearitthere.com/?action=tribe_geosearch&tribe_paged=2&tribe_event_display=map&featured=false

    Hi Miriam,

I wanted to give you an update on this issue: unfortunately the fix applied in the last release did not solve the issue for all of our users, but we are currently working on getting this resolved permanently. In the meantime, you can try adding a default date to the shortcode, which should help for the time being (for example [tribe_events view=”month” date=”2017-12″]).

This thread is still linked to our internal ticket, so we’ll let you know here as soon as we have an update. I’m sorry this wasn’t resolved the first time around, but we do appreciate your patience while we get this fixed!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
