Several Questions!

Hi,

I’ve used a different calendar plugin for a long time that I’m relatively happy with. But I am in the market for something new for several projects going forward. I have installed the free version of this plugin and am pretty keen on a paid one but I have some questions.

1. How easy is it to upgrade from personal to business to agency & beyond?
2. How easy is it to upgrade from an add-on feature to a bundle if need be?
3. Is there a way to embed a calendar on a specific page that allows me to further customize the page rather than replacing it. Is that the short-code option under the Pro plans?
4. Is there an option to allow events to open as pop-ups rather than forcing my users onto a new single-event page?
5. Pro Customization – is it possible to customize fonts/colors/sizes etc with a paid pro version?

Thanks for emailing support. Let me answer your questions below:

1. How easy is it to upgrade from personal to business to agency & beyond? Very easy, click of button
2. How easy is it to upgrade from an add-on feature to a bundle if need be? You can add new plugins but can’t upgrade to a bundle, bundles need to be purchased in their entirety.
3. Is there a way to embed a calendar on a specific page that allows me to further customize the page rather than replacing it. Is that the short-code option under the Pro plans? Yes, shortcodes do this
4. Is there an option to allow events to open as pop-ups rather than forcing my users onto a new single-event page? Not out of the box. Its possible but would take custom development on your end.
5. Pro Customization – is it possible to customize fonts/colors/sizes etc with a paid pro version? You can allow the calendar to pull styles from your theme so essentially yes.

Do you guys have developers available to hire for customization – specifically the pop up option?

Also – I looked but didn’t see anything about this: With community event submissions, is there an add- on feature to charge users for their submissions?

Hi – great question!

That is not directly supported, but it is possible to use Community Tickets to let organizers submit events with tickets – and split income received through ticket sales between that person and the site owner.

Our plugins are very flexible, though – so if you literally want to create some sort of paywall where users are charged a fee per submission that would certainly be possible through some custom dev work (while beyond what we can assist with, it should be a manageable task for most established WordPress developers).
