ParticipantHi,
We have an admin person who ‘purchases’ tickets to an event on behalf of members. So she’ll be logged in to the WordPress site and recognised as an existing user. She selects the event, selects the ticket, goes to Checkout.
Although already logged in, she sees the usual Checkout page anyway which asks for Billing Details (name, address, phone, email etc).
She fills in the Billing Details on behalf of the other member ie. a different name, address, phone, and email to her own. She checks out, and the ticket is purchased etc.
BUT the tickets don’t get emailed to the updated Billing Email Address. They just go to her WordPress Profile email address. How can we have tickets get sent to whatever email address is provided in the Billing Email Address field?

KeymasterHi businessinheels,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
That is a very interesting case there. I’d be happy to help you out with this.
I would need to know what eCommerce platform you are using to sell tickets. Are you using WooCommerce or the build-in Tribe Commerce?
Please, also share your system information with me in a private reply.
Thanks,

ParticipantHmm. Thanks for the clue/suggestion anyway. Sadly I’m once again left disappointed by Events Calendar. I would have thought it is fairly obvious to send the tickets to the email address provided in Checkout. Seems nobody else has ever expected this… such is life. Again, thanks for your help.

KeymasterSorry to hear about your disappointment.
Until now this feature wasn’t requested very often, as your scenario (buying tickets with your admin account for someone else) is quite unique. As you said, “nobody else has ever expected this”.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
This essentially is a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support. I already gave you some pointers that can help you get started. If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
