Retricted Events show on Calendar

I have created a meeting event, and restricted it to the role of Steering Committee.

When I pull up the Full Calendar a user with the role of Subscriber can see the calendar, which is fine, but they also see the Restricted event. (See April_2017.jpg, attached) Because they can see the link, they can hover over it. This then displays the date, time and excerpt of the event, basically rendering the access restriction null and void.

How do I set up the calendar so that logged in users only see events that they have permission to see?

Thank you for taking the time to post in our premium plugin support forums. Unfortunately, I can’t be of much help in this instance. We aren’t permitted to troubleshoot conflicts with custom themes and plugins by other authors. For more information on what we’re able to cover, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.

If you haven’t already, I would review our Testing for conflicts guide to see if you can narrow down the exact source of conflict. I also recommend setting WP_DEBUG to true on your site’s wp-config.php file to help further assist.

Lastly, if the conflict gets beyond your level of expertise, we have a list of customizers available for hire. Sorry again I can’t do more and best of luck resolving the conflict. Cheers!
