I am trying to figure out how I can reschedule customers to a different event without having to change their password, log into there account, rebook them and delete the old booking? This is the reply I received.

“Actually, you can create orders from WooCommerce’s backend for specific customers without logging in with their accounts. I suggest reading WooCommerce’s documentation on that topic.”

I have google WooCommerce documentation and can’t find anything? Could you give me a direct link or steps how to do this?

I also asked about the feature of letting customers know how many tickets are left or sold and received this reply:
“The good news is that feature is already there in the current version of Events Tickets Plus (WooCommerce Tickets is now retired and integrated in this plugin”

I currently have the current plugins purchased : The Events Calendar, The Events Calendar Pro, Events Calendar Filter Bar, Events Calendar WooCommerce ticket. I noticed on the videos it show Tickets Plus showing the count down of tickets but not Woocommerce tickets? If WooCommerce is retired how am I still using it? Does this mean I have to purchase the tickets plus plugin as well just to get that feature of how many tickets are left? My plugins say they’re all up to date with 3.9 is this correct?

    Hi Melinda,

Thanks for reaching out! I’ll help you here 🙂

So let’s start by clarifying this WooTickets vs Events Tickets plus thing. Basically all our ‘old’ ticketing plugins (WooTickets, WP-Ecommerce Tickets, EDD Tickets and Shopp Tickets) got merged into two new plugins ‘Event Tickets’ (free) and ‘Event Tickets Plus’ (premium). All users holding a license for any old plugins are granted a license for ‘Event Tickets Plus’ so there’s no extra fee to migrate to the new plugins. Please read this knowledge base article: Moving to Event Tickets Plus, which reviews the process of migrating / updating the plugins.

Regarding the current version of the plugins, you are a bit out-dated. Our plugins are now in the 4.0.x versions so before migrating or such please update to the latest versions. Update is smooth for most users, but we always recommend updating in a local or development server to test everything works as expected with your site set-up (theme, other plugins, etc) before going live.

I have google WooCommerce documentation and can’t find anything? Could you give me a direct link or steps how to do this?

You can check the WooCommerce Managing Orders guide were manual creating of orders is covered as well as some other useful tips.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Nico

I have found and uploaded the new plugin now for Events Tickets Plus but have not activated it. On the backend of my site it say’s my Events Calendar and Events Calendar Plus are up to date but they show version 3.9 ?? I have refreshed the updates and still nothing will let me update them to the 4.0. I have updated all of my license keys in the events calendar settings as well? I was reading about Manual updates and FTP but it went over my head and I am not sure what to do from here? I just backed up my site and now have all the following from modern tribe and there status below. Also, I’m not sure also why both Events Calendar and Event Calendar Plus are on there and active and how I fix that?

Events Tickets Plus- 4.0.4 not activate
    Event Calendar 3.9.3 Active
    Events Calendar Pro 3.9.3 Active
Events Filter Bar 3.1.1 not Active
    Events Calendar Wootickets 3.9 Active

Her is my site if you need it: http://www.cocktailsandcanvas.com.au

    Hey Melinda,

Thanks for following up on this! From what I see in our records, all your licenses are active (Event Tickets Plus and Filter Bar don’t show as connected to your domain but that’s probably because they are not active).

We’ve heard of issues with update notices in some hosting environments, generally going into WP-Admin > Dashboard > Updates and clicking the ‘Check Again’ button (https://cloudup.com/cCW29UyilXj) makes it right. If that doesn’t work then you should go with manual updates, the process is not complicated and the data shouldn’t be lost or corrupted (but it’s always recommended to backup everything before giving it a go).

Also, I’m not sure also why both Events Calendar and Event Calendar Plus are on there and active and how I fix that?

You need to have both plugins active, The Events Calendar core and Events Calendar PRO. You’ll also need to install Event Tickets core alongside Event Tickets Plus.Events Calendar PRO and Event Ticket Plus add extra functionality but they need to work with the core (free) versions.

Hope that forcing the updates work 🙂

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Nico

Thanks for all your help 🙂 I have everything updated and installed but now my tickets have moved down to the bottom of the page under the venue locations and the google maps and it makes it hard for the customers to find. How do I go about moving it back up title and photo of the event?

I have disable the google maps in order to get the tickets to move up a little but still would like them abouven venue information. ALso now that I have installed tickets plus I am runnning into other issues.

1.When I go back into the license keys it’s not showing there? I copy and paste it back in and then go back to check on it and it’s blank again? Not sure if that’s causing the issues or if that’s suppose to happen.

    2. I can no longer click on attendees and see who is booked in for the events or print or email the list to my staff?

    3. Now when I go into edit a ticket there are two different options ‘Edit’ and ‘Edit in Woocommerce’? I’m not sure why there is two but if I enter the information into edit like I use to it no longer shows up on the front? It only shows up using edit in Woo. It’s getting really confusing that information is not showing up on the front end like it use to? I know have to go into both to put in price, how many left,

    4. Is there a video or guide explaining each of these new functions ( Inventory, Attributes, Linked Products, etc.

    Hi Melinda,

Thanks for following-up and glad to hear you could update the plugins 🙂 Let’s continue to work on your questions…

How do I go about moving it back up title and photo of the event?

Please check out this article on it: Moving the Tickets Plus form.

1.When I go back into the license keys it’s not showing there? I copy and paste it back in and then go back to check on it and it’s blank again? Not sure if that’s causing the issues or if that’s suppose to happen.

Be sure to paste code in the license field, then click outside the field and wait a few seconds till the license server validates it. It will show a message under the field and then you can go ahead and click ‘Save Changes’. Sometimes these errors happen if the validation server is down or a bit slow, I see it’s working fine now but that could be the cause.

    2. I can no longer click on attendees and see who is booked in for the events or print or email the list to my staff?

You should be able to see the attendees for the events as expected. Take a look to this article: Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

Sorry fo the confusion here! The ‘edit’ link is to edit the ticket in the event edit screen (right in there), while the ‘Edit in WooCommerce’ link takes you to edit that product/ticket in the Woo editor – which for some users is useful.
Regarding the front end of the tickets form, this is how it looks with default theme TweentyFifteen: https://cloudup.com/cODzlkALBSm, Are you seeing it this way?

    4. Is there a video or guide explaining each of these new functions ( Inventory, Attributes, Linked Products, etc).

The features you are referring are related to WooCommerce, right? In that case you’ll need to refer to WooCommerce Docs. If you are referring to our plugin, please elaborate a bit more on this cause I’m not sure to get you.

Please let me know if these answers help you to finally get the migration working,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Nico

I’ve read over the information but unfortunately when I press on attendees on either option the page comes up blank? I have painting classes every week and I can’t see anyone who is booking in unless I go to the WooCommerce and click on every purchase and write them down. Is there settings that need to be changed or is there a bug?

I have also tried event sales and checked to make sure all sales are complete and it’s still not working? I’ve even watched the video on setting up tickets but nothing is working?

I really need help with this ASAP! We have a lot of events coming up and no matter what I click attendees, orders, events order sales nothing comes up but a blank page. My staff don’t have access to the backend so I usually print them up the list of attendees for them to mark off. Researching and trying everything 🙁

    Hey Melinda,

Sorry to hear you are still having issue with the attendees report 🙁

Is this happening with events created before you update the plugins? Have you tried with a newly created event?

When you say you are getting a blank page when you click attendees, you refer to an empty report (like this one: https://cloudup.com/cOyMl3ZmgVf) or to a completely blank screen? Either case can you please look for the server error logs? Do you see any errors related with The Events Calendar?

Also, it would be great if you could send me your updated system information so I can see which versions of the plugins you are running now. You can share it in a private reply.

Sorry for the inconvenience this might be causing until fixed,
    Thanks,
    Nico

I have checked on Cpanel. But not sure what I should be looking for?

When I click on attendees nothing comes up the page is just blank and the same thing when I click on orders. I’m not sure why this new update makes me go into two different things to set up tickets and how many seats are left but it’s time consuming and frustrating that I can’t see any attendees for my events 🙁
