ParticipantI posted my comment in this post: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-permalink-issue-still-exist-with-version-4-0/#post-1041627
So here is my own topic about this issue.
The issue is that the rucurring events are still showing up in the calendar and as a page.
For example:http://website.heeswijksekampen.nl/agenda/3310/2015-12-23/

MemberHi RJM. Thanks for creating your own thread.
I visited http://website.heeswijksekampen.nl/agenda/3310/2015-12-23/ and it seems to be operating correctly as a recurring event. It displays a link to all events in the recurring series, and that page displays correctly too.
I checked that other forum thread for additional context but wasn’t sure how it related since your permalinks didn’t seem to have any problems (again, that link worked for me).
Could you please restate your question so I can help solve any issues?
Thank you very much.

ParticipantHi,
In this screenshot (sorry, it’s in dutch) it shows that 2 of the recurring events should have been excluded from beeing shown as recurring.

Still, they are shown on the front end pages…
Hope you can still help us out! besides the fact that these examples are a bit expired. It must be a relyable system to go life offcourse 😉

MemberHi RJM. Thanks for your screenshot.
There were one or more releases since our last interaction. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.
If it’s still happening, do you have an updated example (wp-admin screenshot and front-end link) for me to look into?
Thanks!

MemberThanks for updating.
Regarding the issue of http://website.heeswijksekampen.nl/agenda/3310/all/ displaying the Dec 23, 2015, and Dec 30, 2015, events even though they’re listed as excluded…
This might be a known bug.
I see you are using Day/Month/Year instead of the “US-Style” Month/Day/Year date format.
Please go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > Date Format Settings section and set “Datepicker Date Format” to US-Style format.
Then test with a new event (or change existing event details if you wish) and test if the exclusion dates work.
If it does work, you may wish to try out other Datepicker Date Format settings (e.g. YYYY-MM-DD) and see if that’s more acceptable for your site (assuming it still works to exclude events from a recurring series).
Please let me know what you find out. Thank you.

ParticipantTested it. It works as you said! Thanks for your help with this.
I now need to find a way to make this work for the contentmanager 😉
It offcourse is not nice for people that are used to european way of date notations to use the US way. Would be good to fix this offcourse. Thanks again!

ParticipantThis notation does work though “23-12-2015” so fixed that too for us!
