    Hi

We have purchased Calendar PRO to have the recurring event function. But the recurring events are not displaying ticket box for customers to purchase, like this one https://yorkshirebakingclub.com/event/traditional-cakes-2018-04-11/2018-04-11/ or https://yorkshirebakingclub.com/event/yorkshire-breads-baking-course/2018-04-08/. The whole point we use Calendar PRO is to let customers buy tickets for a next available course/event when they can\’t make the upcoming one. If the ticket box is not there, then we can\’t achieve this, and we, therefore, wouldn\’t need the Calendar PRO anymore. Please could you provide a solution or issue us a refund?

    Thanks,
    Wei

    Hi Wei

At this time, Event Tickets Plus does not support recurring events. We do mention that on the Event Tickets Plus page.

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

You can suggest it it https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3685663-recurring-event-support-for-tickets.

We do offer 30 day refunds if you find the plugin does not meet your needs. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/. s

    Thanks

    Hi Courtney

Thank you for your reply. Sorry I actually meant Calendar PRO. I must have submitted the tickets in the wrong section. Sorry to bother you. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks,
    Wei

    Hi Courtney

I just checked and I submitted the query in the Events Calendar PRO section correctly actually. Please could you pass my question to your Event Calendar PRO colleagues?

    Thank you for your help!

    Thanks,
    Wei

    Hi Wei

I can help you handle Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus.

I asked shared information tickets because it seems you are using tickets on event listings (thus both Pro and Tickets plugins). Without a tickets plugin, Pro would not be expected to display ticket options. Recurring events do not work with tickets, but standard non-recurring events can work with a ticket.

I tried to visit your links above and wasn’t able to do so. Do you have an example of this publicly visible? And can you provide me with screenshots of the edit mode of the same example showing the recurring settings as well as ticket settings?

    Thanks

    Hi Courtney

Somehow I didn’t get an email about your response and just saw it now!

I have manually added and deleted and added again the tickets on series events for multiple times and they are now all displaying correctly. So I don’t have a link not showing ticket at the moment, but I will send you when I add a new event next time.

Now I have another problem which is even more urgent. So I put all events under “Course” category at https://yorkshirebakingclub.com/baking-courses/. All events(courses) on this page are reoccurring, so once click on one event(course), we expect the client to see the next available event(course) in this series. However when we clicked in, it only shows the first event(course) in this series, and if the first event(course) is passed already, it shows on top in a grey bar that “this event has passed” but this is not what we would want. We would like it shows the next available event(course) so that our customers can book! You wouldn’t be able to see it on the page now as I have manually deleted the old date from the series because we don’t want to lose customers.

Please could you provide a solution for this? Thnaks.

    Hi Wei

Would using this link https://yorkshirebakingclub.com/calendar/category/baking-courses/ work instead?

Without knowing your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/, I am unable to determine what theme you are using. However, it looks to me that they have integrated with our plugin in their own way. The link that you provided is not one that we impact much of the code or how it is displayed. The link that I provided is the full list of events within that category, and I believe displays all events within the series, not just the first event. Users can toggle that themselves in the little checkbox above or to see if Events ยป Settings ยป General ยป Recurring event instances is unchecked.

    Thanks

    Hi Wei

That is what I was thinking might be happening. Events Calendar Pro‘s recurring events does not work with tickets perfectly at this time. Our default message when you try to create a ticket on a recurring event says:

This is a recurring event. If you add tickets they will only show up on the next upcoming event in the recurrence pattern. The same ticket form will appear across all events in the series. Please configure your events accordingly.

The events on https://yorkshirebakingclub.com/calendar/category/baking-courses/ follow the expected pattern for recurrence with tickets.

    Does this make sense?

Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Thanks

    Hi Courtney

Please could you let me know when will the issue above be fixed by your developers?

We also ran into other issues that concerned with mobile interface. So if you use your phone and go to site https://yorkshirebakingclub.com/event/family-fun-baking-event/2018-06-30/
The title is cut off as showed in the image.
Then if you go to https://yorkshirebakingclub.com/event/family-fun-baking-event/all/
The “Find out more” link is also covered by the booking button which is not ideal at all..

Please do you have a solution for these?

    Thanks.

    Hi Wei,

We do not have an anticipated time frame for recurring events to support tickets further.

Could you open up a new ticket regarding the mobile display? We prefer to keep each ticket to a single topic.

    Thanks

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
