MemberHi kmengvik and sorry for the trouble here with recurring events! Let’s try to figure this out together.
Were recurring events displaying and then stopped? Or have they never displayed at all for you?
If they were displaying and then stopped, do you recall what changes had been made to the site between them working and not working? For example, was there a WordPress update or a theme change? Any detail you can provide here about what changed would be super helpful!
In the meantime, it would also be great for you to try these troubleshooting steps and let me know what you find.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for the reply Geoff, sorry for not giving proper details in the first place. The recurring events was working fine before the summer. During summer they were “paused” as events did not take place during the summer break. Now I have set forward the date for recurring events, but they fail to recurr anymore. There has been updates to the calendar, but I’m not sure about the theme or WP. This can probably be checked? Can you help me with the steps?

MemberHey and thanks for following up! I appreciate the extras details. 🙂
What happens when you publish a new recurring event? Does that show all the instances on the calendar correctly? It sounds like something could have happened while that first recurring event was “paused” and I want to make sure that the issue is isolated to just that recurring event and not any others.
Let’s start there and see what we find. If the issue affects the new recurring event, then we can do some deeper troubleshooting.
Thanks!

ParticipantThank you.
I’ve set up a brand new recurring event on august 27th. It only shows once in the calendar. It does not recurr even if it is set up to do until october 31st.

MemberThanks for the screenshot and for setting up the new event!
I notice that the archive for a recurring event seems to produce a 404 error. For example, clicking the “See All” link for the new event you created goes to a Page Not Found: http://www.tustnail.no/event/trening-knotter-og-miniputt-2/all/
One thing I like to try anytime we see 404 errors is going through the suggestions outlined here. This resolves most of the 404-related issues we see so it’s definitely worth a shot in this case as well.
In the meantime, it would also be great for you to try these troubleshooting steps and let me know what you find.
Were you able to do these as well? If so, what was the outcome when you switched to a default WordPress theme and deactivated all other plugins? Did you notice a difference there? I ask because I haven’t been able to replicate the same issue on my test site while using the Twenty Fifteen theme and no other installed plugins, so I want to see if that is the case for you too.
Thanks!
