I do not understand why my events are showing as recurring all of a sudden when they are not recurring events. That is, they have not been created as recurring events. I have also create a test to check and it happens with the test as well.

Hi Catherine. Thanks for the link.

That definitely is a recurring event (whether a result of your doing or something going haywire). Regardless, let’s move forward.

The easiest way to solve this is to totally delete the event and empty your Trash, then re-create the event and don’t select any recurrence pattern. Since you emptied your Trash, the Permalink should still be available when you create your new version of this event (in case you shared the link already with others).

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Thanks Cliff – I will try this but I am not confident it will work because I did try to create a test event that also turned itself into a recurring event.

Unfortunately that didn’t work. There is a glitch in the plugin.

Thanks for trying that, and sorry you’re experiencing this. I’d suggest following our recommended troubleshooting steps:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Debug in ON now. Are you able to check and let me know?

I visited http://bfseniors.com.au/event/bfs-webinar-mygov-take-2/2016-09-08/ again and it is a 404 error page. Is that what you wanted me to check again?

Could you please send your system information?

Cliff my problem is that I purchased this plugin and support – and it has been working fine – then for no reason it started creating every event as a recurring event. This is what I want fixed.

I am sorry this is happening for you.

Please change your system to Testing for Conflicts Mode and see if this issue continues.

If it does, please send me your System Information Report while still in Testing for Conflicts Mode. Any screenshots, video screen captures, etc. that you think might be additionally helpful would be appreciated.

Then I’ll try to replicate the issue on my local testing site.

Instruction links are available in my 2nd reply, above.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
