Problems with Android smartphones

We got the feedback from our customers, that there is a problem with Event Ticket Plus and Android Smartphones. It seem that the + and – symbols are not shown and therefore no additional information can be entered (please see screenshot).

I’m not MT Support, but I’ve had something similar on my site.
Did your customer happen to test whether anything happens when they tap the space where the +/- is supposed to appear? Is it possible that you just need to fix the CSS to display those symbols in a different color?

When I changed my theme I had to modify quite a lot of the CSS to fix the text color in various places. Everything was actually on the page, but certain elements were not visible because of my incompatible color and background-color choices.

I hope your issue will turn out to be as straightforward as this. 🙂

And thank you Tamara for your suggestion! That could have been a solution.

However, in this case, I think it’s not a CSS problem. I visited the website on a Macbook pro with Chrome and couldn’t see the +/- buttons either (they aren’t in the html). Could you share your System Information so that I could understand your set up better?

I noticed you did deactivate all other plugins and switch to the default theme. Could you see the +/- buttons with all other plugins deactivated? And with Twenty Seventeen activated?

Hi,

It’s strange that we don’t see the same thing. Are you looking at your website while logged in? If so, could you log out and tell me if you see the +/- buttons or not? (https://www.alohasportevents.at/event/aloha-tri-traun-sprint/)

It really looks like a conflict. I would recommend you to follow carefully the different steps mentioned in our documentation about Testing for conflicts. In case you can’t make use of a staging site to test things there, you may consider using a plugin like Plugin Detective and/or Health Check, each of which provide a troubleshooting mode that aims to ensure your site will continue to operate as normal for regular visitors.

Thanks for your information. It seems that it happen in all browsers, when a user is not logged in! Which makes debugging with a plugin a little bit tricky 😉

Looking at the HTML code: The class “button added” is not added, when logged out.

Any recommendations how to solve this issue?
