ParticipantHi,
After many problems we installed events calendar pro on a separate environment. We thought it would work right out of the box but we have a problem with the calendar navigation. We don’t see the PREVIOUS button (in Dutch VORIGE)
IF we look in the code, there is nothing loaded (so the div isn’t hidden or anything else)
Can you help us out?
Cheers
Mtichell

MemberHi Mitchell
Can you confirm that you have events older than a month already created?
If you do have events that are older than a month, start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?Β I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.Β Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard Β» Updates).Β
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

ParticipantHi
The issue right now (previous button) is the only problem left. Offcourse we have checked it multiple times. We have many items in the past.

MemberHi Mitchell
The next step I need to escalate this ticket further is for debug. Would you mind enabling WP_DEBUG and sharing any PHP errors you see while navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket?
Once you share your WP_DEBUG findings, we may be able to get an idea of any plugin or theme conflicts.
Please enable WP_DEBUG on your site. You’ll need to edit to your site’s wp-config.php file and change this line of code:
define('WP_DEBUG', false);to this:define('WP_DEBUG', true);
(or add this line of code if you can’t find mention of ‘WP_DEBUG’ in your wp-config.php file)If any errors do appear while navigating your site’s pages, please copy and paste them in their entirety into a new ticket reply — along with the URL of where you saw the error(s) — and make sure you set it as a Private reply.
Please also check for Javascript errors: Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors
Thanks

MemberHi Mitchell
Regarding the new issues: so sorry about the conflict. Last night our team announced The Events Calendar 4.5.12.3 is now available, which resolves an issue related to the display of events in the default Month View. This issue (https://core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/41496) was introduced with WordPress version 4.8.2 and impacts all previous versions of The Events Calendarβall users are encouraged to update as soon as possible. No other changes were made to any other areas of the plugin, and we apologize to anyone who might have been affected by this issue.
https://theeventscalendar.com/hotfix-the-events-calendar-4-5-12-3/.
Please update and let us know if this resolves those issues.
Can you also provide me with a link to the new WP install having these issues with it’s System Info? I’ll escalate this on for additional support.
Thanks

MemberHi Mitchell
Thanks for the link again. Is this the new install you referred to? Do you still have that test site available? If so, can you send the System Info for just this test site?
In the meantime, I will ping a developer about the “Next” issue.
Thanks

MemberHi Mitchell
On your test site, or even on the live, have you updated to the most recent version of The Events Calendar? It looks like this is out of date, and may be the source of the issue.
Thanks

MemberHey Mitchell
I notice that the previous/next links do work on several views. Are you seeing that too?
Regarding the filters dropping when switching from Week to Month view, you’ve found a new bug! Thanks for that. I’ve submitted it for our developers to work on. I’ll be sure you are notified as soon as a release ships that remedies this problem. Sorry for the delay on that one.
Thanks
