ParticipantHello. We purchased the Events Calendar Pro plugin on October 13th, 2014
We were charged on Oct. 1 2015 for a renewal (we do want to renew and keep using this plugin). For some reason the calendars dropped off our website and I don’t know what is going on. Can someone please help! Is there a chat window I can use to talk to customer support and try to solve this problem!October 1, 2015 at 12:43 pm #1010601George
ParticipantHey @atldreamcenter,
Thanks for renewing your license!
I’m sorry that these issues have come up, renewing a license or anything like that should not cause any sorts of problems like this.
1. Can you clarify if you have made any other changes on your site at all before these problems started happening? Or was it literally just that you renewed your license on http://theeventscalendar.com, and then looked at your site again and problems arose? Even if this is the case, I can assure you that the renewal is not related; licenses do not affect code functionality in any way with our products, all they do is sign up a domain for update notices and support.
2. Can you elaborate on what the specific problems are? For example, I went to http://atldreamcenter.com/events/ and the page loaded fine, and the Events widget on your homepage seemed to work well too.
3. In your reply, can you include your System Information? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thank you!

ParticipantWe had a calendar and list of events (see image) on some of the pages that disappeared. I will get the system information for you. I will also do some digging and see if this is something I can resolve. I just wanted to check here first since the timing seemed like more than a coincidence (the calendar on the attached image just stopped showing up the other day).
Also, I wish there was an easy way to attach images 🙂
I will try to upload the image to the web and share it here.October 2, 2015 at 6:43 am #1010868Paul Palmer

In the image you will see a calendar and then a list of events under it. That is what is what went missing on our pages. This image was on the http://atldreamcenter.com/get-involved/ page and then I got a call yesterday about it being gone.
As far as recent changes goes, a lot of the plugins were updated this week. Would updating plugins make it stop working?
Thanks for your help on this! Hopefully we can get this back and running ASAP!

ParticipantOne more thing. In the dashboard it says, “To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.
To begin using The Events Calendar: Eventbrite Tickets, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar.”When I go to our plugins list, we have Events Calendar (not currently activated but up to date), we have Event Calendar: Eventbrite Tickets (activated and up to date), and The Events Calendar PRO plugin (up to date and activated).
Do I need to activate The Events Calendar plugin to make The Events Calendar PRO work correctly?

Participant@atldreamcenter, I know you still need help and don’t mean to keep you waiting at all – thank you very much for your patience! Our support hours tend to be in the “normal” working hours of 9am-ish to 5pm-ish in our local timezones; after the weekend, I had many support followups on Monday and did not get to your thread here before the day was out.
I’m really sorry about that and appreciate you hanging on here.
The irony, or rather the painful thing about my delay, is that my response is so simple and I wish I had checked in on your thread over the weekend to send this quick reply:
The answer is YES, you do need to activate The Events Calendar on your site for all of the other add-ons to work.
You should have all of the following plugins active and at their latest versions, which are listed below along with where to manually get the latest version if need be:
- The Events Calendar 3.12.3 – https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
- Events Calendar Pro 3.12.2 – http://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
- Eventbrite Tickets 3.12.1 – http://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
Once things are like this on your site, do issues persist? If so, describe them in detail, and provide more screenshots if possible – they’re super helpful! You can upload screenshots to a site like Imgur.com and then share the URL to those images here, if you have any.
Thank you,

ParticipantI upgraded all 3 calendars from your company but apparently they are not all compatible with each other. Since I can’t upgrade anymore (they are all up to date) I guess that means I will have to downgrade some of the them? I don’t know which ones though. Also, when I went to Event Setting I got an internal service error (I wanted to make sure our “key” that we renewed was in there correctly.

I see that the Events Calendar is showing but there is no content under it (where the calendar used to be)October 7, 2015 at 10:16 am #1012380Paul Palmer
ParticipantIf I manually download them from those links you provided, will I lose any information from my previous version (calendar information, etc.)?

ParticipantHey @atldreamcenter,
Thank you for the screenshot there – it is showing the versions of Tribe plugins on your site as version 3.8.x, which is far outdated!
There are two things here that are really important: one a question, and one an answer to one of your questions:
1. If you go to http://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads, do you see the 3.12.x version numbers I reported in my second reply on this thread? I just want to make sure you can access the most up-to-date files. These are as follows:
- The Events Calendar 3.12.3 – https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
- Events Calendar Pro 3.12.2 – http://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
- Eventbrite Tickets 3.12.1 – http://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
2. You asked this question which is a very important one:
If I manually download them from those links you provided, will I lose any information from my previous version (calendar information, etc.)?
No, manually deleting the existing plugins and then uploading the new versions of the plugins “fresh” on your site will not delete any existing calendar data. And this is the recommended way to manually update, in fact. However, just for the record it is pretty much always a good idea to do a backup of your site and database before installing or updating ANY theme, plugin, or WordPress Core update; this is not just limited to The Events Calendar, in other words. It’s just a good idea regardless. So if you are able to make a backup of your site and database, please do! I would not recommend manually updating without backups first.
I hope all of this information helps. Thank you so much for your patience here – let me know how updating goes and/or if you have any other questions for the time being that I can help with!

ParticipantOK! I now have the calendar working well with the proper up to date versions (3.12.1 3.12.2 3.12.3) but Eventbrite is still having issues.
It is no longer linked to our calendar. So the calendar is displayed, but volunteers are not able to sign-up/register for the events.Any thoughts? Thanks for your help on this!

ParticipantHey @atldreamcenter,
I’m sorry that issues are persisting!
You describe your issues as follows:
“It is no longer linked to our calendar. So the calendar is displayed, but volunteers are not able to sign-up/register for the events.”
By “sign-up/register for events”, do you mean that the ticket forms from Eventbrite are not showing on events linked to Eventbrite?
Also, when you say that eventbrite is “no longer linked”, do you mean that if you go into your site’s wp-admin and to Events > Settings > Eventbrite, the API keys are not there any more? If so, you will need to add the API keys back for proper functionality.
Thank you so much for your patience with this!

Is the API key unlinked? Do I need to type it in again?October 14, 2015 at 6:44 am #1014478George
ParticipantIt indeed appears the key is unlinked – try linking it, and consult the video in the top-right of that page for more setup help if you need it! 😀
Let me know how things go,
