ParticipantHello,
I am trying to figure out how to restrict Organizers to one Venu and how to display individual Venu Event pages. Before we purchased we were told this was possible, but now that we are actually beginning to start using the software we are unsure how to see how this works.
Please advise.

ParticipantHi Stan,
First off, welcome to our forums! I’d love to help you out today. 🙂
If I understand correctly, it seems like you need help with 2 things:
- You’d like to restrict organizers to be associated with only one venue.
- You’d like to display pages for individual venues.
Regarding the first, there’s not a built in feature to do this. You can set the default organizer and the default venue, but restricting an organizer to only be associated with one venue would require some plugin customizations, which our support forums do not provide. If that’s something you’d like to see in the future, I’d encourage you to search for that feature in our feature suggestion system and upvote it, or create a new suggestion.
As for the second, issue, our plugin has that functionality built in and I think you’ll find this article from our knowledgebase helpful.
Please let me know if this was helpful and if you have any follow up questions Stan!
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantOk, well the first feature is the main reason why we purchased this. Please give me a price on what it would be to customize the plugin to do this.
It really was not clear, but I am sure we asked this before purchase, since your using forums to request support and not a ticketing system I am not sure if I can find the response that verifies this.

ParticipantI found it:
Hi Stan,
By default the plug-in only allows logged-in users, via the WordPress admin, to create and edit events (assuming their user role has permission to do so – this can be configured in the plug-in settings).
If you want to allow logged-out users, or logged-in users, to manage their events from the front-end, you shall need the Front-end submission extension for that: wp-event-organiser.com/extensions/event-organiser-frontend-submission.
Please note that logged-out users will not be able to edit events, and that events submitted by logged-out users will need to be assigned to a user account. You can configure whether events submitted by logged-out users require approval before they are published, but I recommend that you do.
Events created/managed via Front-end submission extension will have an event page, like any other event page.
I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions, please just get in touch.
Kind regards,

Hello, Does you calendar give the ability to allow other event
organizers schedule their own events, if so does it also give the
ability to allow that event produced by an outside event organizer to
have their own event page on the site?————————-

ParticipantHey Stan,
I’ve read over the exchange, and I think I may have misunderstood you, based on what I’m reading now. You can, in fact, have other people submit their own events via the Community Events plugin. That’s not the same as assigning an organizer to an event in The Events Calendar PRO, which is where our wires got crossed.
I’d recommend looking over the documentation here about utilizing the user-submitted events feature, and let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks,
Shelby

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
