Organizer Details glitch

Hi there,

We’ve been using the free Events Calendar plugin for a while now and I’ve just bought and installed the Community Events add on so that users of the our website can add their own events.

Everything so far is fine. I’ve added the links to “Add Your Own Event” and “View Your Existing Events” to the Events Page as well as the Menu.

On testing the Add Your Own Event, I notice that “Organizer Details” shows the drop down box but then immediately after the drop down arrow, there’s a strange string of text, like so:

{“id”:5100,”text”;”NameOfOrganiser”},{“id”:5101,”text”;”NameOfVenue”},{“id”:5102,”text”;”NameOfOrganiser”},{“id”:5103,”text”;”NameOfOrganiser”}

I see a couple hundred of these.

When I click on the drop down to choose an organiser, the rotating gear thing just rotates and nothing is displayed.

Also, it seems like it’s lumping the venues in with the organisers.

Events Categories, Event Tags and Venue Details seem to working fine.

Please advise?

I’m really sorry about the issue with Community Events. Let me try to help you solve this.

Also, please read this article and follow the instructions to run a test for conflicts and let me know what you find. This will help us determine if there is an issue with our plugin or maybe some other plugin or theme is influencing the behavior.
