ParticipantI’m having the same problem as a few other users with the number of events per page remaining at 5 despite the setting being changed in Events / Settings. I see that you resolved this with other users by having them change their theme archive post display setting which was overriding the Events Calendar setting. However, in my theme (Fitness Zone) I don’t seem to have that setting so there doesn’t seem to be anything overriding the Events Calendar setting.

ParticipantHey Jeremy,
Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear about these issues, and am wondering if you can do a few specific steps here to help identify the culprit:
1. Can you head to your wp-admin’s Settings → Reading page, and share what the “Blog pages show at most” option is set to?
2. Can you then share your System Information as described here? → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
I will look at this information and see if anything stands out as a possible culprit here before recommending other steps we can take to investigate.
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you for sharing this information, @Jeremy—I unfortunately don’t see any obvious culprits here, and since your “number of items on blog pages” setting is already set to 10 but is not being obeyed by your event pages, at this time I think there could be a theme or plugin conflict on your site causing this.
To help determine if that’s the case, I would recommend doing all of the steps outlined here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
After EACH STEP, check on your issues and see if things behave any differently.
What do you find when you do all of this?
Thank you!

ParticipantFirst off, you need to be very careful in recommending that developers switch Themes to test compatibility without warning them of potential repercussions. All of my edited CSS and the settings for the Theme were removed by following your instructions. Fortunately I had a backup of both.
I turned off the following plugin and it looks as if it has resolved the issue:

ParticipantIn regards to the theme issue, I’m sorry to hear you lost that CSS—this is not normal and sounds like a bug with the theme, because if that CSS is in a file then it would only be lost if the file is deleted. That doesn’t happen on theme-change; and if it’s stored in a database option, then this, too, shouldn’t be deleted on a theme-change or anything.
Very weird! Definitely contact your theme developer about that, it could be a major bug in their system.
As for the plugin conflict, I’m glad to hear that you found the culprit! Thank you for your patience and for testing all of that.
Best of luck with your site!
