I have added the license key and it’s been accepted. However, once I import my ICS file, it doesn’t show me the preview and there isn’t any indication that the link has worked. I just purchased this plugin for this reason. Please help. Thanks.

1. Can you confirm that you are describing Event Aggregator?
2. Next, if so, can you please confirm if you’re using a URL to an ICS file? Or are you uploading a literal ICS file? If you’re using a URL, can you share that URL here so that I can test it out myself? If it’s a literal file, can you upload that file to a site like cloudup.com and then share a link to that upload—I will download it and test it myself.
3. Finally, can you share your site’s complete, un-edited system information to this thread? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Cheers,

Please see my answers below. Thanks!

Yes, I am using Event Aggregator. I wanted to be able to populate our online calendar with our events from Microsoft Outlook. I was instructed to purchase this license so I could upload the .ics file.

I have attached it to this email. Is this ok?
Additionally, here are both links. I added the HTML just in case:

It’s being shared.

Thanks for your answers here!
1. First, I wanted to report that the System Information you’ve shared does not list any plugins on your site…that seems wrong, of course, since you mention using Event Aggregator which requires the presence of The Events Calendar plugin, so if possible I would encourage you to manually share your system information using the “Sharing the Information Manually” methods described on this guide that I shared before: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
2. Next, there is currently a bug with WordPress 4.7.1 itself—in other words, not a bug with our plugin, but with WordPress core itself—that is affecting the uploading of things other than images. That seems to be at play and we’re investigating if this is the reason for a number of threads similar to yours. I will update this thread with news about this—stay tuned!

January 25, 2017 at 11:56 am #1223884GaidiParticipantHello,
I have tried all types of imports and nothing is working. Additionally, we just learned from our hosting company that we are receiving lots of log errors from the plugin we just purchased from you all. Maybe it is the Event Aggregator as you’ve stated, but I’m not sure. I am not an expert in that area. I’ve done what I could do concerning uploading and purchasing and troubleshooting.
Please help or provide a refund so we can find something more suitable for our site.
Thanks so much.
January 25, 2017 at 2:18 pm #1223982GeorgeParticipantSure thing Gaidi, please head to this page to file a refund request and we’ll get that processed right away → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Just to clarify, you say, “nothing is working.” This is NOT normal and Event Aggregator is working well for thousands of customers, so there is something unique and specific to your site that is failing to function here.
I am sorry about this fact and that we could not investigate more towards a resolution, but totally understand your decision to move on and request a refund—use the form linked above and, as noted, we’ll process a refund right away!
Cheers,
George -
