Next and Previous Month Links are not working properly

Hi, installed the Free Event Calendar plugin and has some issues with the next and previous month links. Today I decided to buy the pro version to see if the issue will go away, however, the issue persist on the pro version as well.

I know I will be asked to deactivate all active plugins, but I decided to do something better. I did a fresh install of WordPress and installed the Event Calendar plugin. (is the only plugin in the system) To my surprise, the issue also is present in this WordPress installation. See here http://instituteod.com/calendar/events/

Also, I check some of the showcase sites here https://theeventscalendar.com/showcase/ and some of them have the same issue and some of them are no longer using the event calendar.

I visited your website at https://instituteod.com/events/ and didn’t notice anything abnormal regarding your Next and Previous Month Links (for instance, if I click on July, I can see July being displayed properly with 4 events). Could you give me more details about the context? (which web browser you are using, desktop or mobile device, etc).

I also visited your test site at http://instituteod.com/calendar/events/ but couldn’t see any event and any Next/Previous link. Did you enter many events on this website?

Also, could you share your System Information please? (you can set your reply as “Private”).

I’ll try to explain the issue again.

As we know the calendar has 12 months, so when I visit my event calendar page I expect to see a calendar displaying the current month and events if any. Also as any calendar on the web, it needs to display Previous Month and Next Month. Currently, when I click on next July located on the right, I do not see August, is just empty, I only see go to June if I’m looking at July I see only June.

Note: I should be able to see any month regardless they have an event or not.

Thanks for that clarification.

Our calendar actually works in such a way that, if you don’t have any event planned past a certain date, further months won’t be displayed.

For instance, if you don’t have any event after July 26th, then it’s normal that you can’t see August and its following months.

On the other hand, if you do have events planned after July 26th, then it’s possible there’s a bug on your website, in which case you’ll have to test for conflicts in order to spot where the problem comes from.
