    Hello,

Just installed the calendar and additional plugins. I am not happy with how the plugin looks. Can you please give me the necessary CSS to add to mimic your demo calendar? I will most likely only enable the list view (currently it is not possible to switch between views on mobile. I’ve only tried this with iOS).

Also, when you click on view all of reoccurring threads, there is a url error.

Lastly, how do you change the meta page title to say upcoming events instead of events archive. I’m assuming a meta description needs to be added here also.

    Thanks,

    Tony

    Hi,

Thanks for purchasing our plugins I can help out here.

What demo site are you referring too?

    I visited your site here:

    Events

And the event list is very close to what our typical view is besides the changes that your theme brings to it. I can try to provide some css, but I am limit in providing all the css to cancel whatever your theme is doing.

    Recurring Event Errors

As for 404 Errors please follow our 404 Error Guide:

If that does not help please try out our testing for conflicts guide and see if that finds a conflict causing this:

None of the 404 resolutions help. The reoccurring events are not adding a / after the. Example: .org17485896 vs. .org/17485896.

Also, on mobile, you can’t switch between calendar views. I have list as default but also added month. Please advise.

    Hi Tony,

Just filling in here while Brian is out on vacation and wanted to make sure things are still moving. 🙂

Also, on mobile, you can’t switch between calendar views.

Does the same issue happen when you switch to a default WordPress theme. For example, this does not seem to happen when I test using the Twenty Fifteen theme and I want to make sure we’re not looking at a conflict with your theme.

The reoccurring events are not adding a / after the.

Anytime we see a 404-related issue with recurring events and the WordPress SEO plugin installed, that is typically the root of the issue. You may want to test by:

    • Disable the SEO plugin
    • Delete the recurring event
    • Create a new recurring event
    • Flush permalinks
    • Try visiting the new recurring event on the front end

Another possibility could be if you have any custom rewrite rules on your site or have a plugin/function/theme installed that modifies those for you. The links to recurring events appear to be correct. For example this one…

    https://vfwpost1.org/event/free-yoga-for-vets-family/2015-08-18/

    …but it redirects to:

    https://vfwpost1.org2015-08-18/

The Events Calendar won’t trigger that redirect itself, so it would seem that something else is instructing that redirect to happen.

Let me know what you find here and we can keep digging.

    Thanks!
    Geoff
