Something happened recently and my calendar’s monthly view: http://www.antiochtenn.com/events/ Does not show any events. It just shows dots and one cannot click on the days. Similarly, you can’t have a weekly view.

The smaller calendar out on the main page works fine.

    Thoughts?

Hi Clay. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Also, after following your recommendations, my paying local ads no longer appear on the site. Can you advise how to fix that?

Clay, I’m sorry to hear about your frustrations and difficulties troubleshooting. Sometimes such troubleshooting like this is part of managing a WordPress site.

Yes, your ads would be disabled if you followed all instructions (to disable all plugins other than those from us, Modern Tribe).

We also have a policy to not login to sites to change settings, activated plugins, etc, so I cannot do these troubleshooting steps for you even if you provided credentials.

As we typically only provide 1 reply per forum thread per weekday, having your site in Testing for Conflicts Mode also leads me to inform you of the best practice to utilize a development or staging site. You might ask your web host about this.

I’d suggest getting assistance from a developer, WordPress site manager/maintenance person or company, or even a techie friend who could better understand the instructions. Or maybe your web host is willing to go above and beyond for you here.

I hope to be able to help you or your assigned further on this matter through to the end.

How do I verify the $178 I spent on your service last November does NOT auto-renew this November?

    Clay,

It looks like your site may be running a plugin called W3 Total Cache. It may be the dots culprit.

I have seen several support forum posts recently on this issue, and they all have one thing in common – W3TC.

    Perhaps this article will help.

Take a few moments to search this support forum and you will find a few others ALL on the same topic.

Reaching out to the W3TC Community on “best practices” will help, not only with the TEC plugin, but with other third party plugins too.

I hope this helps get you in the right direction.

    Mathew, thanks for helping here.

Clay, none of our orders are auto-renew. And please let us know if W3TC is one of the issues here. This is a helpful article about W3TC’s settings for The Events Calendar.

Plugin conflicts like this is one of several reasons we ask you to deactivate all non-Modern Tribe plugins in our recommended testing instructions.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
    The Events Calendar Support Team
